Love to Read Month at St. Ignatius School

I was invited to read a story and talk about the writing process to the grade 6 and 7 students at St. Ignatius School by a former student of mine, Miss Julie. It was wonderful to see her again and engage with the kids, who were an absolute gem. They peppered me with lots of great questions and readily shared ideas for stories of their own, not to mention some incredible suggestions for the next Links adventure. I was really impressed! I’m quite sure there are a few future J K Rowling’s in the bunch.

A huge shout out to Miss Julie and the Staff at St. Ignatius, who are truly inspirational. During my short visit, the dedication you showed to your students was plain to see. They are lucky to have you.
